Hello and welcome to my blog.
I’m Holly Scott-Gardner, I’m 18 and from the UK. I started this blog to raise awareness of what it is like to be a blind student in a mainstream school and educate people about the kind of challenges I face. There’s a lot of information on this site relating to visual impairment and also everything that is going on in my life at the moment.
I also run the twitter page VI Awareness which I use to raise awareness of visual impairment and hopefully change some of the stereotypical views people have. I also want to raise awareness of other disabilities at my school and within the local community, as I think it’s really important to talk about it and answer any questions people have.
